"It was not where it was listed but it was a good spot just had one set of bunks so one adult slept on the top. It was in the garment district near the empire state building. There was one bedroom with a double and the main part of the apartment had the other double with the bunk beds. The kitchen was good and stocked with basic dishes. "We have stayed at this hotel twice, and overall we think it is a great place. The breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The main area we think the hotel should improve is the elevator system. Although the automatic system assigns guests to specific elevators, it does not really save time during rush hours. In fact, there were times when we had to take the stairs because the elevator took nearly 20 minutes to arrive, and by the time it reached our floor, it was already completely full. In addition, from outside the elevator it is difficult to tell which floor the elevator is currently on, so it is hard to decide whether it is better to continue waiting or just take the stairs instead. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hotel’s service and facilities, but improving the elevator experience would make a big difference for guests during busy hours."

"The room was a good size and centrally located. The front desk staff were not rude, but not pleasant. I had some basic questions about check-in, and they were not helpful. Also had an issue with them charging an additional deposit of hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and they basically told me I was imagining things, even though it clearly shows up on my credit card statement. Even after checkout, the two charges are still out there and not finalized and do not match with what was agreed upon when I made the reservation. There were also a ton of issues with the elevators and so it took a long time to both get on from the lobby and go down to the lobby throughout my stay."

Would not allow you to use the cart to transport the luggage. Had to be done my the hotel."

We couldn’t communicate from the room to the Front Desk at any point; when we needed someone to come check the air conditioning, they took very long. We had three rainy days and they don’t have umbrellas. We wanted to have dinner at the hotel — the restaurant supposedly closes at 10:30 PM, but at 10 they refused to serve us food. I would not return. The room is extremely small, the suitcases don’t fit, there’s no refrigerator, and it’s next to a building under construction, so every morning was very noisy."
