The Judges Lodgings Boutique Hotel

"The Judges lodgings are in a great location for visiting Gloucester and nearby Cotswolds. The size of the apartment was perfect for our family and had all of the amenities required, even included shower gel, hand wash etc. The beds were not the most comfortable and we didn't bother using the single fold up bed. We were disappointed that there was no freezer in the apartment, which is useful when you are self catering. Also, we had 2 cars and parking was only available for one car. We paid for extra parking, which was a short walk away, but the location wasn't great, and had homeless people living outside the building where parking was located. However, I raised my concern and we were given alternative parking which was much better"

"I stay here when on business in Gloucester as it’s such an amazing apartment. The communication from the host is outstanding and so easy to follow, the location is gorgeous right on the quays a minutes walk from the canal, bars bistros and restaurants. The parking is gated so super secure and the fact you get your own spot means there’s no worrying about whether you will get parked or not as I do at many of the hotels I stay at. The apartment block is quiet and the neighbours are all friendly. The kitchen is well equipped although I don’t really use it as the area has such lovely eating places. The beds are really comfortable and has plenty of sockets at each side (again something you don’t always get in hotels). Looking forward to my next visit to Gloucester and staying here again."

"I would have given it 5 stars but the shower only had two temperatures. Hot or Scolding. But it really should be 5 stars. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room, and a fan which is a godsend in this weather."

"Good location near city centre. Clean and comfortable. Generally very well equipped - we asked about a bread-knife and Shea provided one within hours. Hot water was not working when we arrived for some reason but she rectified it straight away - she could not have been more friendly and helpful."

"Overall a nice stay. Outside a little off-putting but inside really nice. Notices re heating etc very useful. Most generally good but blinds don’t work very well and that toilet really does need mending very soon - as a female I was hit in the back by the toilet lid several times! Nice and close for exploring the docks. "
