"We have enjoyed a 5 nights stay in the Nook. The host was extremely helpful. The cottage is set in an beautiful location.And the forest of Dean Is easy accessible. Cottage was very clean and had everything that you would require as hand."

"The hotel itself is an impressive building, but it is clearly in need of renovation. We stayed in an outside room (No. 17), which felt quite dated and would benefit from some updating. During our stay, there was an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which was disappointing.
The room was also very warm, and adjusting the radiator thermostats didn’t seem to have any effect. As a result, we had to open the window, but this meant dealing with constant noise from the busy road outside, which made it difficult to sleep.
On the positive side, there were plenty of parking spaces available, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming."

"A lovely cottage, with a fabulous garden in the Forest of Dean. Quite and secluded. Big enough for 6 to eat in the kitchen, with all necessary appliances. Bathrooms compact, but there were 3 of them! Easy to access the Forest, with Pubs, Restaurants and Supermarkets easy to reach by car."

"Clean room. Friendly and helpful hostess. V.good breakfasts, choice and quality. Quiet location with short walk to good pub. Forest of Dean is interesting area between Wye and Severn with a special history. Easy access to Monmouthshire. You may see harmless wild boar Can't miss the evidence of roadside grass verges dug up in their search for food."

"My son (12yrs old), my Jack Russell and me all had the most wonderful time staying at Zion Chapel. So spacious, yet warm and cosy, so comfortable and peaceful with everything we needed in the chapel. Stepping outside directly into the stunning forest to find easy trails to walk for hours was a blessing. The dog was in heaven! We felt totally emotionally reset and recharged to head back to the city after our 4 days there. Simply magical. We will definitely be back! Thank you!"
