"When we went the property was not even cleaned and we went for 2 nights and they wanted us to move to other property for one night and then come back to the original property cause they didn’t clean it. We went there to relax and enjoy our time off but when we saw the property we regretted…. "

"The check in process was easy, with good communication from Trish. The home was fantastic for our group. It was spacious, clean, modern with a homely feel. The kitchen was very well stocked for the traveller (bread, milk, butter salt/pepper etc). All the bathrooms had soaps, good quality towels. Each room catered for its own heating and cooling to meet the individual. It is in close walking distance to the town with cafes, shops and pubs. The hill maybe a little steep for some. I would highly recommend Cooper Street and would certainly stay again if the opportunity arises. "

"Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. "

"Awesome accomodation with so much space for our group of 20. The bedrooms were perfect for our group and beds very comfortable. The accomodation had a fully functioning kitchen for us to use. We had a catering company come in one evening and they were able to cook and use all the plates utensils etc from the well stocked kitchen. The dining area was fabulous for the large group. We made great use of the outdoor area and pool. I would highly recommend Abernethy house for a group function ."
