The room was too small - inspite of high price, the hotel is good

It was my perfect trip! Everything was great- the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was beyond my expectations. 5/5 !!!

Beautiful property with lovely staff.
Restaurants options leave a lot to be desired when considering how expensive the place is.
Pools need updating.
Spa is fantastic

Staff will enter the room at anytime.
Posted 5 Aug 2019 on HotelsNice property but it is a maze to walk through as every single staff person uses a 'golf cart' to transport themselves around. 'Golf carts' are parked everywhere including the entrances to the rooms, 'golf carts' zoom by when walking toward the beach carrying no one other than the staff member driving. The property is also not at all quiet or peaceful... there is a constant hum of weed-whackers. Be warned that the staff will enter the room at any time without knocking. I was very surprised to see the door to the room swing open without warning.

Idyllic oasis

The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was large, luxurious and very comfortable. The issue was that the main swimming pool by the sea was under repair and the gym was under renovation. While the other pool was functioning it is set back from the beach and does not have the all important sea views that a beachside hotel usually offers. We booked only a few days before our stay. A hotel of this quality simply needs to inform guests in advance when major facilities will be out of action during a stay at the time of booking (whether directly or via Expedia) so an informed decision can be taken.
