We loved this property, but it does need some renovation to the second outdoor swimming pool which wasn’t available. We were also given no warning about The Beach facilities not being available and we were told there was a shuttle service to and from The Beach but this also wasn’t available. It was disappointing as we wanted a beach holiday. The hotel was lovely, but we probably wouldn’t have stayed there if we had known there were no beach facilities. We had to make our own way down to the beach and pay for sunbeds. Not appropriate when that is not made clear on the website.

The building and services we received was fantastic! There were a few issues around getting our orders right at the restaurant - one suggestion would be for the waiters to read through the order before they head to the kitchen. Other than that the dining experience was fantastic - we weren't able to visit all the restaurants due to some of them being closed.
The only other issue we had was the prices of extended services, spa/watersports, on site store, the markups are around 300% and massages are €300 per person which is something ive never experienced staying at similar level hotels.

I visited the property during the peak summer season, it felt like they were a little understaffed. It took an hour to to get towels after calling for them three times and the rooms were dated. They offered buggy services to get around but there was always a huge line to get one.

Rixos Bodrum is set in a stunning surrounding. The hotel is high quality with great facilities. We were not aware at time of booking that only the buffet restaurant and beach restaurant was included in the premium all inclusive package and you had to pay extra to use other restaurants (unlike other top hotels we have experienced where you get to use other restaurant’s during your stay), so please be aware of this - we booked via Expedia and this was not made clear. Otherwise the staff are all super friendly and helpful. Great family holiday destination.
