"I LOVED this hotel! The staff was amazing! Hotel was clean and very comfortable from the rooms to the lounge area. It is in a quiet part of town off the road so there is a little traffic, but you are across the street from the river and walking distance to Avoca Village. If you are planning to visit Glendalough or Avondale forest , this is a perfect location! The restaurant in the hotel has great food also, didnt need to go out! Very happy i stayed here!!!"

"Our stay at Wilton Castle was exceptional! My husband and I love to travel and I would put this property in the top 5 that I have ever stayed. If you are looking for a fun experience and want a quiet few days away from the city, stay here!!! It is a private property with pastures all around. You can wake up in the morning and look out the window at the grazing cows while enjoying your cup of tea in the breakfast nook. The suite that we stayed in (Butler Suite) was very clean, spacious, and well thought out and had added touches like a working fireplace, and tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge. We were greeted promptly upon arrival, shown around, and were given recommendations for dinner if we wanted to go out. We went to an Italian restaurant in town that was delicious. The closest small town was less than a 10 minute car ride away. One of my favorite things about the property is that we could freely walk around and explore the ruins of the old castle. Be sure to read the history of the castle on the website. I can’t say it enough…this property is wonderful and we very much enjoyed our stay here. My only regret is that we didn’t stay a few more nights. Thank you!!"
