"It is a beautiful, modern and relaxing hotel. The down points for me were that the bedrooms are far too hot with no air conditioning, the food was mediocre and very overpriced. €15 for a ham and cheese sandwich is outrageous."

Quiet place, wonderful people.
"Beautiful house and family. Very warm. Tons of onsite free parking. Quiet. Room was clean and ample, not large but enough. Jo and her son Ben welcomed us and took the time to get to know us and vice versa. Breakfast was simple bit delicious. Great little stop"

"We loved the charming atmosphere of Clone House. The decor was lovely , our room and bathroom we're clean and comfortable, and the grounds had well maintained gardens with several peaceful areas to sit to take in the beautiful countryside. Breakfast was wonderful with several choices daily. Fresh pressed coffee, homemade scones and fresh fruit and yogurt on top of what you ordered, made a great start to the day. The host was friendly and willing to recommend local spots for sightseeing and dining. We highly recommend Clone House and would rebook here the next time we come to Ireland! "
"We made a decision to stay in Ireland this year and also to benefit from a short travel we chose Brittas Bay as I have been to this beach before and it’s stunning.
Upon arrival we were delighted the photos matched the home. I lovel plants and gardening and was thrilled the garden had a mature feel with the secluded area idea for eating outside.
The faculties in the house were excellent- everything was provided for- so there was no need to buy household products. This is an added bonus.
We had a query about the WiFi and contact Brian who was so helpful. He gave me a list of things to do and local shops. Throughout the week, any quieted we had Brian answered them immediately which was great.
Super location - we used the house as a base and enjoyed Avondale Forrest gardens for the new treetop walk and also Clara Lara which my son really enjoyed.
My mother came down to stay on Sunday night and the house was so comfortable for a movie night.
Brian very kindly extended the check out to 12 pm, which is a bonus.
Overall, we had a fabulous holiday and I would highly recommend the house to family and friends. The way in which travel is at the moment to be able to esacape to Brittas Bay and feel like you are in another world is wonderful.
Can’t wait for our return stay"
