Convenient for Grange as well as the Lakes. The accommodation was excellent. My room felt very homely and my hosts were extremely eager to ensure I had everything I wanted. The breakfast was excellent and my hosts were kind enough to ensure I had gluten-free sausage and toast. I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent!

We were delayed due to breakdown in the motorway making us delayed by 8 hours. Telephoned the property to update them as thought I would have to cancel. Owners were very understanding and allowed us to arrive early hours in the morning. Lovely and clean. Very friendly and breakfast was lovely . Will definitely stay again.

Highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay at the Birchleigh guest house in September 2018. Comfy bed, ensuite room with modern decor. Fabulous breakfast and really friendly hosts who made us very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely brilliant

Small hotel with a great atmosphere. Standard and cleanliness were top notch and the hostess did everything to make us feel comfortable. Can only recommend and we will be happy to return.

We went to Cartmel for the races and had a lovely stay, beautifully situated in a fab little town by the sea. It was run by a wonderful helpful couple our room was clean and spacious as we ended up having the family room as they were fully booked. Breakfast menu had plenty to choose from and was all very well presented and tasty of course I would definitely recommend 😃😃
