It is regrettable that we could not fully rectify the slight issue created with our rooms’ description through Expedia. It also came as a surprise to us to discover such a mistake and unfortunately, since you were already at the hotel when we both realized it, nothing could be done but al least try to correct it for future guests. I am very glad you realized that our hotel was not responsible for such a mistake and I can promise you that from now on, our team here will be overlooking our various partners more strictly. As already discussed during your stay with us, our hotel, this 16th century jewel, is protected by the Greek archaeology department, therefore no amendments are allowed to be made on its basic structure. An elevator would have been very helpful indeed, but unfortunately it could not be added. We also understand that not being able to drive or park a car inside the Old Town of Chania can be a real hassle, especially during the high season, but sometimes, when you want to preserve something, small sacrifices must be made. It is our belief though, that anything we may lack, our hotel staff makes up for and we are glad that you noticed that. We feel very proud for our team here. We are fortunate enough to work with people who understand the true meaning of hospitality and are eager enough to apply it in their everyday routines.
