"The Hotel was lovely and with a big attention for details. We got a cozy and big room with a privat garden. The stuff was amazing : both shifts: Domingos and Sheley were Fantastic and very helpful and kind. We love the place and the vibes and the hotel Is basically walking distance form everything. We walked twice to the Waterfront Mall and we felt safe all the way and enjoyed a pleasant walk. We also meet the German owner who was very kind and warm. We will come back cause CPT is amazing. "

"A hidden gem in Cape Town! We only stayed 2 nights but it was more than enough to recommend this place to others. The guest house is located very conveniently from both the V&A and the stadium. "The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived. Some towels had holes from old age. Only 2 teaspoons in the drawer, and when you needed a normal glass, you had to get one from the bed- or bathroom. The bar is...

"Despite email communication confirming someone would open after tennis match in Cape Town, no-one was available to do so. Eventually after wandering around Green Point trying to find accommodation (unsuccessfully) a neighbourhood watch gentleman accompanied me back to the Guest House where eventually two guests managed to get me in. Not impressed."

"My family of three had a great stay at Avatara. Our bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and all staff were kind and great with our toddler. The airport transfer Avatara arranged for us was easy and the driver was so wonderful. Additionally, communication with the owner before our stay was prompt, kind, and clear. This was our first trip to Cape Town and the Green Point neighborhood is safe with plenty to do and great places to eat. We recommend Avatara 100%!"

"I loved staying at the Sunflower Stop. It was a clean, nice hostel. My only complaint was that the room I was staying in was pretty noisy so it was sometimes hard to fall asleep at night and the door was really difficult to unlock. I would stay here again though!"

"Great location to stay, but the listing is a bit mis-leading. The place says that there is free wifi and it is marketed as a self place to stay, but there is no soap of any kind provided (no hand soap, body soap, or hair soap). When traveling from far distances, it's not reasonable to bring these items, so the place should clearly label it. At the same time, it says "free wifi" but you are actually limited to 3GB's. While they will say it can last a long time if you are just checking email,...
