"Though the room was small (as expected), for the price the room was absolutely perfect and just what we needed for one night. It was exceptionally clean from the moment you walk into the lobby to the hotel room as well, and it’s nice there is 24 hour reception area. I will mention there are lots of shady people in the Basel train station area (nothing to do with this hotel) but it was sort of a surprise compared to the other cities we saw in Switzerland so please be aware. "

"Basel Marriott offered everything that one would expect of a Marriott hotel, but even more in Switzerland. The rooms were clean and spacious, well-appointed and friendly appearing, in an ideal location. The amenities including a good fitness center, a sauna, a lovely restaurant, and an after-hours center for a drink or snack. What more could you want?"

"Our stay was very comfortable, even after having to change rooms. We had to change rooms because there wasn't a bathe tub for our baby to have a bathe, instead there was a shower. I suggested having a few bathe tubs from a local store that could've easily fit in the shower, to stop the inconvenience of having to change rooms. Overall, our stay was very pleasing and we enjoyed the hospitality and catering. The team was good all round. Like a very oiled engine, they all worked really well. BZ"
