"Great value for the price and the quality of surface you get. Cannot complain. The hall way at night does looks a bit like a haunted movie due to the way the motion sensor for the light works and the bluish emergency exit lighting."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Crown which is perfectly situated on the edge of the town centre, but still remarkably quiet even on the Saturday night. The room was very nicely decorated with a very clean and well appointed ensuite shower room. We did not eat in the hotel apart from breakfast but the menu looked good. Highly recommended"

It was well supplied with refreshments and a hand-written welcome note. The bed was comfortable, quite firm but not hard. Dinner was excellent! There was a very good choice, each dish was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast too was very good and well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again."

"Hotel is very central, clean and staff are very friendly. No parking but there is well priced local parking nearby. Hotel is pet friendly but you have to eat in the bar if you have a dog (which was not a problem at all)."
