"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...
"Owner is so lovely and very helpful, almost like a personal tour guide for us with plenty of suggestions for things for us to see and do. Very friendly!! Breakfast was beautiful! Room was clean, walking distance to beaches shops and restaurants. I’d stay again if visiting ilfracombe again. "

"We couldn’t have asked for more - the communication with our host, Paula, before and during our stay was excellent and we were delighted with the house when we arrived. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house itself was a dream, over and above our expectations. We were a family of 6 adults and 5 children and the children absolutely loved the slide and the skateboard room, spending most of their time on these. The pizza oven was a big success for all, too, as was the games room and the outdoor play areas. Everything you could possibly want, and more, was catered for and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family venue. Only a short drive away from the lovely Woolacombe beach and town, it is the perfect accommodation. "
"Wonderful property with fabulous views overlooking the sea and coastal walks. Many thanks Johnny we really enjoyed meeting you and we’re amazed you had built it yourself. Really enjoyed the hot tub in all types of weather. Kitchen well equipped and the shower larger than the photos suggest. Enjoyed walk down to beach and cafe for Sri Lanka takeaway curry. Also Mortehoe Fish and Chip shop a must. "

"We all enjoyed our week in Mortehoe, the beaches all around were the best, restaurants and pubs served great food, the accommodation was clean, bright and the views were fabulous, the sofa in the lounge seemed too big for the room though and meant there wasn't enough room for the table to be set up. We normally play cards in the evening, but didn't on this stay but thats the only drawback, overall we had a very lovely stay. "

"Hidden down little side alley opposite the Chichester Arms is this charming apartment. Even a little House Martin nesting in the porch. Nicely decorated with lovely little arts and crafts around the place. We had a great stay with fantastic views to sit and ponder, while d3ciding which walk to do."

"The house was exactly as described . It was large and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We had an issue with the boiler which was dealt with straight away. Unfortunately the weather was awful , raining most days but the children still went in the sea."
