Casa Boni Guest House, Vista única al lago de Carite.

"This property is only accesible by car, since any amenity may involve several minutes driving. This house is on the top of a hill near an artificial reservoir set within the Carite State Forest in the Sierra de Cayey mountain range. Lost of Coquis!. The place is a three bedroom, all with several windows and a porch. Views are fantastic and illustrative of the humid tropical and subtropical humid forest. The upper part of the house is in a decent shape and water at that time was available without any issue. I appreciated having a small ice maker tray in the freezer. The owner was quite responsive to my messages, which was great. If I were the owner I'd suggest offering the kayak for day rent. There's no much to do around for a family with small kids. Instead of the listed coffemaker we found two stovetop coffee maker (greca) with one missing a handle. Beds were just ok, with linens and towels in gray color. Softener was hiding the unpleasant smell of mold. The floor was noticeable in need of a scrub, especially in the bathroom. That bathroom mat is nothing good. Bed linens were of dark colors and 100% polyester. Flat sheets were not provided but I received them upon request. Plenty of roosters around that wakes you at several intervals from 5 am in the morning."

"This was the second time we stayed at this property, and we absolutely love it. It was recently updated, and is very nice. The house is good, but the beach is most excellent! We love the fact that it is very quiet with a private gated community, and gated beach. There is so much to do in Puerto Rico, but this time we mostly just enjoyed the beach and the beautiful views. The host was very responsive prior to check-in, during check-in, and followed up after. The only thing we could ask for is if we were able to stay longer! We will be back again for sure. The only downside was there was a lot of seaweed this time, but that is part of the “natural” of the beach."

"How can I explain the most memorable stay that we had at La Casa Amapola! Such an amazing experience. The views the property the attention to detail. Stunning. The Host Jose was amazing and so fast at responding regardless of the time of day which we appreciate. The pool was so amazing and relaxing after a long day exploring PR. All the amenities at the house are everything you need. The kitchen which we loved cooking an and making our family dinners. The beach being so close and near and our everyday go to spot in the morning. The view from the balcony to hear the waves of the beach. I sincerely cannot wait to come back and have the opportunity to visit and stay here. So close to San Juan only one hour away!!! It was so convenient. The gated neighborhood was amazing the neighbors are so sweet and friendly! The rooms are so spacious and comfortable and had everything to make your stay comfortable."

"We had an amazing stay in Puerto Rico. This house was exactly as advertised, It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and when we were done at the beach to hit the private pool. The house was definitely big enough for the 9 of us. We spent a lot of time around the huge kitchen table playing games. The ocean breeze kept us cool throughout the day. Would highly recommend!"

"Very clean and fresh house. Steps from the shore. Walking distance from a “downtown” vibe with food and drinks. Safe, quiet family oriented neighborhood. The house is very clean with pots and seasonings to cook anything before and after going out. Some little fixes will make it great. Miguel, the owner was responsive and attentive since booking date. Very easy to reach property with the link. A no brainer code lock to enter. Simple, agreeable home, away from home. Will repeat as soon as we can. 100% recommended. Thks Miguel."
