Qualche settimana fa ero alla ricerca di un alloggio a Guidonia e mi sono imbattuto in una struttura chiamata “Le Camere di Bea”. Sembrava tutto regolare, così decido di prenotare una camera e procedo immediatamente al pagamento.
Per avere conferma, telefono subito al numero indicato. Dall’altra parte del telefono mi rispondono in modo frettoloso dicendo che non risulta alcuna prenotazione a mio nome e, con tono seccato, mi invitano ad andare direttamente dai carabinieri perché, a loro dire, sono stato vittima di una truffa. Non ricevo nessun tipo di assistenza, e il contatto si interrompe lì.
Mi ritrovo quindi costretto a cercare e pagare un altro alloggio, con un doppio esborso, senza avere ancora ricevuto nessun rimborso per la prima prenotazione.
Dopo circa due settimane, vengo contattato dallo stesso numero via WhatsApp. Il messaggio parla improvvisamente di un problema di overbooking e mi invitano a disdire subito la prenotazione. A quel punto faccio notare che fino a pochi giorni prima mi era stato detto che non esisteva nessuna prenotazione a mio nome. Dichiaro quindi che segnalerò l’accaduto alle autorità competenti.
Subito dopo vengo richiamato: ora la mia prenotazione “risulta”, ma mi viene chiesto di annullarla personalmente per ricevere il rimborso, possibilmente in presenza. Una situazione poco chiara e contraddittoria dall’inizio alla fine.
