The whole place could do with a deep deep clean and small touch ups. I believe no matter how much money you pay, you should be able to stay in a clean environment. Apart from the cleanliness, our stay was great. The staff was great and helpful. Fridge was a fantastic bonus. We haven’t used other facilities like dining room etc but I know that was available. "It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. "

"We had a lovely time, just a few things that slightly dampened the experience.
Need black out blinds in the family room as the light was streaming through until late and with the heat as well the children couldn't get to sleep until it went dark.
The gastro pub food l would give a miss in future, very bland, dry and of poor quality but high prices.
We would 100% come back though."

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable."

"Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A...
Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus.
Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive.
Staff were all very courtious and helpful.
Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred.
We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area.
The only down sude was the loss of my credidit card - was is handed in to you??
