"This hotel has a great view and is in a great location. It is a 4 star hotel. Not 5. There are 3 buildings. Youre not told which building youre in until you queue for check in at building 1. Then you get a golf cart to your building. The check in is chaotic. No queues. Just a free for all of everyone ..."

We were not reall in Hai Phong we went directly to the harbour from Hanoi but on board Era cruises was definitely a high lite

Go for the national park and rain forest and LAN Ha bay sight seeing. Cat Ba town is noisy and has extensive construction.
