Staff were friendly and gave us a good larger than expected room on arrival which was good. The hotwl is positioned in a very peaceful area.
We had a room on the ground floor at the back so there was no road noise but lots of noise late at night when other guests were arriving to their rooms. Walls/floors are thin!
The water coming out of the taps and toilet was yellow..not sure why. Bottles of yellow tap water were being served to customers.
The menu was not to our taste far too much spicy food. I had to send the corn on the cob back as it was covered in spice. We were then brought a new plain one and were not charged which was good.
Can't comment on the cooked breakfast as we only had fruit/continental options.

Excellent hotel ! Very convenient if you want a beautiful properly with amazing meals. The chef is special… besides all the other great dishes, Indian food was authentic.
Great selection of alcohol .. we enjoyed G&Ts. Very close to Fort Augustus, great for visiting the Great Glen Gin distillery and Loch Ness !
