"We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly, responsive, and thorough, gave us a great orientation of the home when we first arrived. This is the perfect blend of private but not remote, and my family had a great time hiking and enjoying the lake. The house is incredibly well-stocked, with everything from linens and blankets and towels to firewood, spices, books and games, etc. I definitely hope to be back for a longer stay soon! The only issue we had during our stay was that some of the adult men said they had trouble sleeping in the alcove beds on the second floor, so maybe avoid assigning those beds to bigger people. Other than that, there were some complaints about there not being enough lighting in some of the shared bedrooms or the banquet hall. I think this could be easily fixed if you plan to bring some nightlights or a lamp, especially considering nearly everything else is already provided for you. From sunrise to midnight there was something beautiful to explore or watch on the grounds, and this was the most comfortable and relaxed stay I’ve had in a while. We were a group of 27 people and the home never felt crowded and it never felt like there was nowhere for a group to gather. The home is beautiful and clean on both the inside and outside, and Scott and Ann have done an incredible job curating a wonderful experience for their guests. Could not recommend enough!"

"The house was absolutely fantastic—everything about our stay was great. From the moment we arrived, the property felt clean, welcoming, and well cared for. The space was comfortable and it worked perfectly for our family.The location was also a big plus the river was cold but my granddaughter loved it It was convenient for getting around and suited our plans well.
