"The welcome was good. Booked parking and was told which bay was ours for the night. Executive room was huge, needing updating but clean. Bed was super hard pillows thin so didn't sleep too well. Informed the receptionist on check out but she only wished us a safe journey home. No mention of the poor sleep. The executive breakfast was superb, a mixture of continental and cooked. The gentleman looking after us really lovely and efficient, thank you. Can't comment on the bar as we didn't use it, but 2 coach parties were making use of itm "

"Standards seems to have gone down, quite a lot of dust around. The lift still being out of commission is a problem and doesn't seem to have been mentioned on the description. I believe this is a long term problem as the staff indicated that "spare parts" were no longer available. Very young staff and hit and miss service. Good position though."

"The room was clean and the staff friendly. I probably would not come here again mainly because they do not serve breakfast. Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use. The window could not shut fully and let a draft in. The room has blackout curtains but the hall light shone through under the door. The toilet flush button is broken and would often keep flushing. Overall this place is what it is and its a bed to stay in for a short period. One or two things is not that bad but alot of small things are just a bit irritating especially when there were so many good reviews previously. I would have fed this back on leaving, however there was no one at checkout and a note left saying to leave the keys on the counter. "
