Even though all the restaurants posted closing times of 10 pm online, none of them were serving food after 9. Seems like the area is only bustling if there's a convention happening

They have great events there especially at the the XL Center , that's the reason why I was in town for, to see a concert which I ended up taking a lost , because I was unable to attend.

Downtown Hartford in the area around the hotel is pretty quiet and dreary.
"Great location in New Haven and very walkable to a lot of great restaurants. There is a parking deck across the street for a fee with adjoining bridge on the second floor between the parking garage and the hotel. Friendly staff at the lobby and beautiful lobby. Space. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Very clean and quiet on the 5 th floor. "
"We were in town for a convention and this hotel was only a 15 minute walk from the venue, it's in a great location just off the highway and in Hartford there are scooters on every corner so it seemed like we were just next door to our event. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, arrived early and was allowed in on an early arrival fee which was worth it considering the long drive we had, we just wanted to relax a bit. The room was very clean and AC was set before we got there, so it was nice and cool after the hot car ride. There isnt advertisement for a pool, but there's a pool! I did let the staff know about there not being any advertisement for it, next time I'll be prepared! We will definitely be staying here again in the future. :)"
