Fantastic location in the middle of Waikiki and directly on the beach, with excellent restaurants (Duke’s, Hula Grill) and entertainment (Blue Note, Duke’s). Room was recently renovated and was comfortable, clean and had a nice partial view of ocean. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Hotel is being renovated so it impacted the elevator availability and made things a bit messy and congested on the ground floor (LL). It added a good amount of noise, too, during the day, though we were rarely there. Many people struggled operating the elevator.
Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves

Excellent resort a little away from hustle of Waikiki Beach.
Close to Ala Moana beach and the several harbors where many off shore tours leave from
Across the street from the Ala Moana mall so plenty of shopping and food close by
In addition one block away from both Target and Walmart if you forget something
Really enjoyed the room, and the pool area is an excellent place to wind down after a day on beach or around the island
And don’t miss the Sway restaurant for a late night meal or breakfast. One of the best “hotel” restaurants i enjoyed in my travels

"We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Waikiki! The location was excellent, right across from Waikiki Beach, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our first trip to Hawaii. We would definitely stay here again!"
