"Our main reason coming to California was for a concert in Oakland but we were being tourist in San Francisco for 2 days prior to Fridays stay in Oakland. Compared to San Francisco, Oakland gets an A+ for friendliness, cleanliness and space. The hotel staff was super friendly and genuine, it was so nice to be treated with kindness and genuine curiosity. If we ever visit California we are staying in Oakland at this hotel!"

"MISLEADING. please veware and ask for outside pucs and be aware of the area you are booking! Rhis is in the hood. They have people living there. They advertise outside sitting areas. There are not! The inside is very modern and updated"
