"This hotel is what it is. The most inexpensive place I could find in a somewhat decent neighborhood. The plus side is the close proximity to the BART station at 16th and Mission. Easy walk to the Judah line. Great coffee shop half a block north on Valencia. The place has character and is old school. Not a place to hang out and chill, but worked well as a place to sleep. "

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel like honored guests in a private home. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the stately double parlor with wine and cheese, and the breakfast was both delicious and thoughtfully presented.

"Our stay at LUMA Hotel San Francisco was excellent. I left my water bottles downstairs and the robot brought it up. The location was excellent for our family to walk to Oracle Park for a night SF Giants game. The downstairs had excellent items for our breakfast. The view was beautiful. The rooms were very clean.
