"We were upgraded on arrival to a balcony room. Room was spacious and clean with a nice view from the balcony. Staff were great, bar was nice and opens late. Spa facilities were a real bonus. Would definitely recommend."

"The staff were outstanding, from the guys on reception through to the breakfast staff. The rooms were lovely, clean and welcoming, the fridge was an added bonus. Breakfast was great, everything you could have ask for, they had a waffle machine that made the most delicious blueberry waffles. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk to the thermal spa and shops and the other direction pubs and restaurants We found the hotel to be very quiet not just the location but clientele. "

I was upgraded to a lovely airy 2nd floor room with a bath in the annex which was welcome on a hot couple of days. "

"The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better, the rooms were clean and appeared newly decorated, in a style which complemented the age of the building. The staff were exemplary, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fresh, beautifully presented and bountiful. We were very lucky with parking as they had recently reopened their car after a 1 years closure, this made everything very convenient. We are looking forward to further stays at The Francis Hotel in the future and would recommend it to anyone considering a stay there. "
