"For a Marriott it was pretty poorly. Got an upgrade to a room with a name, but the sink was cracked, holes in the towels, terrible pillows"

"Clean room. We had a good bar meal which alsobhas Thai dishes as we were too tired to go to the Star of Siam on the premises. Staff as always were friendly."

"Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. "

"Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. We had to climb a very old spiral staircase to get to the room which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Finally we were given a choice of breakfast either at 7.15 am or 10.15 and nothing was available in between."

"The bedroom was clean and warm. The kitchen had all amenities, including a washing machine. The location was quiet. The other guest was polite, helpful, and courteous. "

"The property was lovely, quiet and out of the way, easy to find, the hosts were in the end of the phone when needed, in my case as few times, the WiFi was spot on, parking is private and in front of the property, thoroughly enjoyable stay. "
