"Very enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff, well equipped room and excellent breakfast. The hotel was full of character with lots of quirky rooms in the public areas, much more interesting than a modern featureless block. Hexham itself is also a very interesting city, with lots of small shops set in pleasant streets of quality architecture, crowned by the magnificent abbey church."

"We had a fantastic stay! Our “standard double” room was better than expected, comfortable bed, spacious, great bath and good water pressure in shower. The choice and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent, well priced and very tasty. Perhaps the stand out feature of the Beaumont is the staff, without exception..their friendliness and attention leant to a welcoming and relaxed stay."

"Lovely modern clean rooms. Our room also had a jacuzzi bath, which was very welcome after long walks! Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, checking each day if you needed anything topping up in your room. Breakfasts were excellent and we also made use of the packed up lunch. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return."
