"We had a small window of opportunity for a trip to Highlands, NC. I found The Zen Den on VRBO and the description met what we needed. The owner gave perfect directions on how to get to our location (the gps would have never got us there) and had turned the heat on before our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The cooking situation was very limited but for our short stay it was fine. For two people and a short stay the Zen Den was perfect!"

"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."

"Really lovely place. Our kids (14 & 11) absolutely loved the animals. The alpacas, donkeys, goats and chickens were awesome. Kids got to do feedings of the goats and chickens with Collin and had such fun. Collin and Jenn are great communicators. We stayed in the Bobcat cabin and it was fantastic. Very comfortable and so we’ll done up. We even were given fresh eggs that the kids collected at the morning feeding. I can highly recommend Cobb Cabins."

"This cozy cabin worked out pretty well for our family of four plus dog. The owner was awesome and responded very quickly to all questions. pros: -lovely view -nice hot tub -dog friendly -clean -washer/dryer -two living areas -multiple televisions -excellent response time from owner -large deck -air-conditioned (although we did not need it in May) -close to town of Hiawassee -lots of privacy and trees cons: -the yard was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. -the main living area and...
