"We needed a spot within short distance of Volcanoes National Park that could accommodate our family crew of 16 people, and this place was perfect. We had 8 comfortable beds and a giant dining table. Also enjoyed a little time in the backyard pool. Great house for a big group!"

"This was our second time this year staying at this beautiful, warm, welcoming, and quiet home attending Hilo events, as we live in Kona. We returned because we love it so much and it accommodates my family and elderly mother. Love the AC in each room and lots of seating in the living, dining rooms and on the balcony. The host is super responsive and accommodating. Hope to return again soon!"

"Very clean, kitchen was adequately equipped, host/manager easy to contact, beds were very comfortable, nice big bathroom with great shower. Beautiful plants and trees on the property. Towels were provided for beach use. Cooled off nicely in the evenings. One ceiling fan in living area didn't work but we were given a tower fan to use. Quiet complex/area. You could see the ocean but was very far off. I loved hearing the frogs at night. I would stay again if I went back to the big Island. "

Absolutely ohana friendly, safe, cool breezes with available fans in every room! Large and well stocked kitchen, great for our group meal preparations! And beautiful yard and foliage! Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This was exactly what our little family needed. Cozy, clean, comfortable. It came stocked with random toiletries I’m guessing were left by previous guests. (Thanks to whoever bought the aloe lotion by the way). As well as some beach gear, a plethora of towels and a few useful kitchen items. Checked into a hotel on the other side of the island and immediately missed the quiet little house where I could listen to the interesting night wildlife. The house is older by well maintained. So long as one isn’t to finicky, this is perfect."
