"My fiancé and I stayed in this property on our last day in Big Island. Conveniently located 5 min away from the airport, so we had plenty of time to savor up any time we had left over on the island. There are a few local places to eat within walking distance. There is a bay across the street where you can watch kids having fun and jumping off in the water or you can stroll for a nice sunset walk. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The experience overall felt really nostalgic. I grew up in a small town like Hilo, so it felt nice to feel a little piece of home there. "

"A hidden gem in an old style Hawaiian hotel by Hilo Bay. The room was impeccable in cleanliness, amenities and comfort. Beautiful surroundings on Banyan Drive with so much outdoor activity at your doorstep."

"Last minute, one night, booking was a nice surprise. Clean and nicely decorated. Note there is no air conditioning, but each room does have fans. Open windows can hear the evening symphonies of frogs. Has all amenities necessary for long visits. Close to downtown. It is an uphill walk so may not be fit for all. I would stay here again. "

Extremely clean and neat located and walkable to downtown and only a few minutes from the airport and major roads for activities. Very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Our host, Simone, was lovely and left a welcome note, coffee and cookies along with other thoughtful touches throughout.It was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed our stay very much."
