"There was a medium size cockroach inside the bathing tub and it was very stubborn to get rid of it. The front office lady blabbered something in her own accent was very hard to follow. Parking was a nightmare. You should know some gymnastics and know how to come out of the car after you parked in the tight spot. It's highly possible your car will get stuck and damaged. Good thing is it's nearer to the airport and restaurants. "

"It was not the best when we arrived the staff was not very friendly and I felt like I was bothering them. I said hello to a lot of staff who completely ignored me it was uncomfortable and our room had toenail clippings it was a less then desirable experience, before you book here look somewhere else."

"Simone thought of everything! The kitchen had everything one would need during their stay. The towels were fluffy, there was plenty paper towels, TP, tissue etc. Even a flashlight to find your way to the bathroom at night. Comfortable beds, books about the island, food recommendations. I would definitely recommend this home for a stay in Hilo."

"Beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable, & a lot of space to spread out. A real oasis. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals at home. The time we spent at the house we gravitated to the covered lanai to look and listen to the river and to stay dry from the daily rain. The home is very close to town. The host provided easy check in and check out instructions."
