Our trip got off to a great start when we were upgraded upon check-in. Gorgeous room with an upstairs bedroom; hotel facilities first class with pool, hot tub and sauna. Can’t wait to stay here again

Problems with the elevators. Staying in the top floor, which was great, but only one elevator worked, so going up/down was very slow. Otherwise great stay.

It's a great location, close to ocean and Stanley Park. Hotel itself is dated but has charm. I'd guess Canadians appreciate that more than other countries. We managed to walk from hotel and all around the city including Granville Isl without calling on public transport or cab. So it's a recommendation.
