"My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District, and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. "Lovely hotel, currently undergoing refurbishment. But no impact on experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches in the room. I have already recommended it to several people and I will certainly return. We were a family of 5 and the kids also remarked on how impressive it was, they enjoyed playing tennis and having a swim after dinner. Food was wonderful with an excellent choice, we enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast. *Highly recommend *"
