It is situated on the west coast of Anglesey, a wonderful location for enjoying exhilarating walks on the dramatic coastal path, bird watching and visiting the famous south stack lighthouse. The bustling port of Holyhead is just two miles away and has a wide selection of shops and restaurants, and offers fishing trips and day trips to Ireland. Golf, fishing, sailing and the Snowdonia National Park are all easily accessible.

Cottage was very good, all the facilities were very good ,would liked to have rebooked for 2024 ,but an increase of over £500 was unjustified for the same two weeks

We really enjoyed our week at Rutherglen which was only a short walk from the beach.

We really enjoyed our week at Rutherglen which was only a short walk from the beach. The bungalow is on a quiet road. The bungalow is well laid out and very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable (which isn't always the case in rented properties!) and the linen was lovely and fresh crisp with big duvets. It wasn't a problem for us but the curtains are quite thin so the rooms were bright in the morning (if the quality of your life is dictated by how early your toddler wakes up then you may want to take black out blinds with you!) The furniture and decoration in the lounge and dining was of really good quality and we found the sofas were also really comfy. Having the sky box was a real plus for the evenings and the odd rainy day. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The washing machine is in garage which was also really useful as a bike store for us. The garden was great for our dog. There are some signs that the property has had damp/mildew issues in the past which worried me when we first arrived but it's clearly been dealt with as we didn't get any of the damp smell at all. I'd say the only downside was if you were expecting to use the garden Room as that really has a lot of mould etc We had a really warm welcome from the owners including a little welcome pack and fresh flowers in the lounge. Would we go again? Yes we would

Lovely holiday in a dream of a location. Cottage comfortable, well equipped with everything that you need. Local shop for food and lots of nice places to eat, don’t miss the local ice cream at the beach.

overall super cottage warm spacious nice rooms great location if you are going to Dublin for a visit would liked a cd/radio in kitchen or dining room also thought shower was a bit fiddley but other than that will stay again

We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. We found the bungalow warm, comfortable, well equipped and with reliable WiFi. The Owner left a generous welcome pack and was very helpful. The location was perfect for us: close to coastal paths, local amenities and an easy drive to Anglesey attractions. We agree with previous comments on the need for the garden room refurbishment. We also thought the clean modern bathroom smelt damp ( reason unknown). However neither of these detracted from our stay and we would happily book again. Our favourite walk was Breakwater Country Park talking in North & South stacks ( saw seals and wild ponies) and Holyhead Mountain. The dog enjoyed all her walks particularly Newborough Pinewoods and Penrhos Country Park. Thank you for a lovely week.
