For your evening meal however, why not head into the village of Castleton to eat your meal? The delightful village of Castleton is a short walk with six pubs, its tea rooms, Castleton caves and castle and many shops. A train station in the next village of Hope with connection to Sheffield and Manchester. Further afield are attractions in abundance, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the plague village of Eyam with the breath-taking Hope valley been within driving distance of Edale, Eyam, Chatsworth, Bakewell and Lyme Park.

Riding House Farm is a working farm of 140 acres. If you bring your wellies you will be able to see the new-born lambs in spring, visit the calf house and even feed the hens! There is an abundance of wildlife around especially in our own secluded Bluebell wood.
