"Older motel, room was clean, friendly staff, tv was good and working, shower and bathroom clean, beds could be better but ok."

"It was an awesome stay. Is what the website says"

"Good location, does the job."

"Perfect as I was just needing a place to stay overnight."

"Great place, clean quiet, helpful staff"

"great stay !"

"The sheets and bathroom were clean. That's about it. I wasn't expecting amazing things since it's a motel, not hotel, but they definitely need some renovations. "New" paint stopped half way up the wall, paneling separating from the wall, curtains held up by a single nail. But it was clean where it counts and conveniently located."

"We had a nice stay at the Black Bear. Great location and Kim was very accommodating."

"Check in was very pleasant. The room was so sweet with lots of personal touches you don’t normally see. Real tea/coffee cups, real spoons not plastic! A tablecloth and placemats on the dining table. A real live plant in the room. Etc. It was very homey. Staff very warm and friendly. I’d stay there again!"

"We had a wedding in the area and this place was perfect for our needs. There’s a bar to the front of the property, which was fun to hang out and play pool. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean."

"Great clean, economical place to stay."
