We had a fantastic stay at Desert Rose Resort and truly enjoyed some special quality time as a small family. From the start, we felt very welcomed and well looked after. The resort is beautiful, family-friendly, and well maintained, with excellent food variety and quality throughout our stay. A special thank you to Milad, the restaurant manager, and his entire team for their outstanding service, warm hospitality, and genuine care, which made our experience even more memorable. We would highly recommend this resort and would love to return.

Great

The food is great, the pools and aqua park are great, the sea and the beach are wonderful and reliable. The hotel is simply perfect. The only problem is mosquitoes. They did not let me sleep at night. Don't forget to use mosquitoes spray or other precautions.

A great stay at Desert Rose!

We loved our stay at Desert Rose! My family stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. The food is decent — good amount of choice for a buffet style hotel and a la carte restaurants were OK. The bars were plenty! The rooms were really nice, although we stayed in a recently refurbished room which was nicely decorated and kept really clean. The lagoon is great with floating platforms in the middle. I only have a few small things to comment on: (1) If you went to look for a sunbed after 8am, the. You were going to have trouble if you’re a family of 4. It might have just been a busy time. However, if you ask one of the employees, they will help and bring empty ones over. (2) We were assigned a concierge who helped with booking the a la carte restaurants, which he did. However, I contacted him about booking excursions, and he was slow to respond so I booked externally. In all honesty, booking using Viatour or Get Your Guide is easy and you can see feedback of different tours, so maybe that’s better anyway. Overall, we had a great time and will recommend to friends & family!!

We stayed in Desert Rose in March 2022. The overall experience was excellent. All the staff were friendly and always available to help. Especially Mr. Mahomud Abdel Samad in the main resturant and Mr. Milad Salama were always looking after us and paying extra attention to ensure that we are having great time. Customer service was exceptional at all levels. The main downside was the rooms as they are outdated and in urgent need for renovations.

Good holiday, location is geart, the food was good, the bar stuff were very friendly and lovely, as well as the restaurant stuff were very friendly, the workout classes was great thanks to the instructors and the stuff, the entertainment team was a bit poor or unprofessional as they see us sometimes without even talk. But overall anything else was good.

lots of to do, entertaining and a wonderful team to keep you busy all day. spoke all the languages. super friendly staff. Christmas atmosphere was the best. parade and gifting little ones on Christmas day were not expected. they put a lot of efforts. Our best was Soda club for drinks after dinner. before dinner winter gardens are so pretty. and obviously the crepe and waffle bar all cheffed on the pontoon cocktail bar/restaurant beautiful to see the sun rise and sun set everyday. Finally missing the one and only Casanova. Wont say anymore, find him on the beach but don t forget to bring him a banana. Highly recomended

The property is pretty nice. The rooms are good and the food is pretty good for an all-inclusive. The beach is beautiful. But the entire experience was ruined by a guy at the excursion counter who tries to rip people off. He tried to charge me $30 for a taxi to the airport on my last day there. However, there was a sign that clearly stated that the charge was $10. He was trying to overcharge me and keep the profit. This was the same guy that was very shady during an excursion to Luxor a few days earlier. He was my driver and did many things to get more money out of me and other things that made me feel uncomfortable. It's a shame because other than this guy, I had a great experience at the hotel. I had a great time in Egypt as well, but I booked all of my excursions through Travelocity and not through the hotel. Like I said before, the one I booked through the hotel was very sketchy, but the ones through Travelocity where great. I know their response is "we aren't in charge of those experiences because they are third-party vendors". But they absolutely are in charge of who they put in their lobby. It's a shame because if it wasn't for that guy, this would be a 5-star review.

Horrible place, scary staff for children. No 5* !!

The worst experience in my life as a hotel! 1st the reception: it is clearly mentioned in the hotel pages that they organise airport transfer (very close to the airport) but no one from the hotel answered my emails(3!) . Once I called the hotel someone at the receptions said that they dont do transfers but he can organise a transfer with the price of 30 USD, Normal price in 100-150LE, which I tool at the arrival. Scam attempt 2. the room: We had booked a suite, when we arrived the room it has so bad fungus smell that we had to put the aircon to the max and open all windows, no one could enter the bathroom as it was so bad. this was 3am, t called to the reception who seem not to be surprised at all we could not stay in the room, they then organised another room but it was in the same small building just opposite side and it was the same, it was just cleaned better so you could only smell the odour from strong cleaning agent, this wore off quite soon and my daughter and I got nosebleed as a consequence. 3. the staff: At the restaurant they were simply unprofessional. Too close questions to my daughters (13 and 15) when I was present. on the 2nd breakfast (our last) I asked a spoon for myself and my daughter and this so called waiter went to the next table where 2 ladies were sitting and took the spoon from front of their noses!!! When I raised how can you do that he did not even care, just smiled and said they are clean. I impossible. Cont..

Lyxig paketering med nyrenoverade ytor men innehållet faller platt. Badrummet luktade avlopp, som dom ej kunde få bort. Sängarna var som kyrkbänkar. Maten var usel, dessutom fick vi vi problem med magen. Endast en värmd pool som stängdes kl 17, plus en liten uppvärmd aquapark som var öppet 4 timmar om dagen. Fina lounger och stranden var fin med bra dykcenter.

Rummet behöver en renovering, annars stort och bra. Dock funkar ej dörren och kortet. Man får springa till receptionen nästan varje gång man ska till rummet vilket gjorde personalen i receptionen irriterad som om det vore vårt fel. Alla personal i receptionen är ej trevliga, kompetenta eller erfarna. Resterande personal på hotellet var trevliga och vänliga, speciellt i restaurangen och barerna. Flera pooler och bekvämt om man har barn. Maten var Okej, inte mycket att välja på för en vegetarian.

Die Hotelanlage ist wirklich wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war sauber, und es gab zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen – entweder an einem der vier Pools oder an der Lagune. Liegen waren jederzeit ausreichend verfügbar. Das Essen war in Ordnung, die À-la-carte-Restaurants kann ich besonders empfehlen. Etwas störend war, dass überall ständig versucht wird, zusätzliche Dienstleistungen zu verkaufen (Massage, Schnorcheln, Quad-Touren etc.). Man sollte nicht alles glauben, was versprochen wird – und auf jeden Fall kann man über den Preis verhandeln. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub, und eine Wiederkehr ist durchaus möglich

Fantástico hotel. Personal muy agradable. Siempre ayudando. Instalaciones de primera. Habitación estupenda en edificio de numeración 3000. Varias piscinas. Comida excelente. Una estancia muy satisfactoria

Alles sehr sauber und modern Abwechslungsreiches Essen Freundlich Mitarbeiter des Hotel Nur haben wir das falsche Zimmer bekommen und mussten später dann umziehen
