Listen, this resort is amazing!!! We were sooo impressed with everything. The food options and the quality of the food is phenomenal and there is always something you will find to enjoy. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the far walk from our room. Which was completely our fault because we chose sea side view and it was an AMAZING view but it was so far from the lobby and restaurant etc but apart from that, the experience here was perfect. We will definitely come back soon. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

We stayed 5 nights in June! Everything was perfect. Rooms and all other amenities were clean and top. The only negative was price of hotel taxi and spa! Other than that was relaxing and quit. Beach clean and sandy. We felt like home even they provided us with lunch box at travel day!! Special thanks to sayed from room service!! He was the best! We will come back for sure.

The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a true luxury experience from start to finish. If you’re planning to stay here, I highly recommend booking in the Posh Club. It takes your entire experience to another level. Exclusive areas, premium service, total relaxation. It made our trip unforgettable. What really made the stay special was the service. Huge shoutout to Hussien. This man genuinely cares. He looked after me and my family like royalty and made sure everything was perfect. He’s professional, kind, and on top of every little detail. Hussien is simply the best of the best. If you’re thinking about booking Sunrise Crystal Bay, do it. You’ll be glad you did. Already counting down the days until we return. Five stars all the way.

Amazing staff and junior suit room seaview

Our stay was perfect. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The a la carte restaurant Mangal was the best highlight for our evenings. Thanks to chef Mohammed Ibrahim and all the staff there. All the other a la carte restaurants are bad, but staff is trying their best to make you enjoy your meals. The staff deserves the best rating for this review I am writing they made our stay much better then expected. The junior suite with seaview is amazing I recommend this room. The main restaurant only the breakfast is perfect, the lunch, dinner is very bad. Best to eat snacks at Yades at the beach. The Oasis beach bar Mohammed Derar is super super nice great service. Really all of the staff deserves a big appreciation. The animation team is sleeping need some training and experience. The shows are super short and very boring. There is no music in the beach only 3 songs for the whole day.

We stayed for 10 days in one of their Junior suites, and while we had a great time, I'm not sure I would rate Crystal Bay as a 5 star hotel. It is however definitely a very good 4 . The hotel has a very large footprint so if you're situated down near the lagoon (as we were) then it can be a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the hotel. The flip side of this is though that the hotel doesn't feel crowded and getting things like loungers or a drink is no problem at all. There is genuinely nothing majorly negative I can say about this hotel, the staff are amazing (shout out to Sameh at the Oasis beach bar), the grounds are immaculate, and the food in the a la carte restaurants is fantastic (Try the Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh at Manohar!!!). If I had to mark it down it would be based on the consistency between bars/restaurants i.e. a coffee or drink in one bar can be quite different to the next bar. Also, the people trying to sell you spa or beauty treatments while you are just lying by the beach is quite annoying (we had 4 approaches on our first morning), although we did discover you can grab a red flag from the towel station to combat this.

So far as the hotel is concerned I do not have a single complaint about. The rooms and public areas were clean and well tended, the gardens are a delight. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and bent over backwards to provide excellent service. A special shout out to Romel in Yades - though there were many others whose names I did not get; he served us every breakfast and lunch. We also had massages in the Spa which were excellent. The only area of concern was in respect of the beauty salon, we were offered and accepted on my part 2 x facials and 2 x manicure my partner also had a 2 x pedicure. He was reasonably happy with his pedicure, but the manicure and facial fell well short of what I would expect. Facial - no cleanse at start just 3 consecutive masks; each wiped off which a damp sponge not properly cleansed and lastly a lick of moisturiser whole time 23 minutes- usual time one hour, Manicure no finger soak no hand massage, poor filing of the nails used a sawing motions when it should be one way rough and hurried treatment of cuticle, but worst of all the clippers etc were not sterilised between customers. Total time 17 minutes usual time one hour. As the deal included two I went back to see if that had been a bad day - but know just even quicker and new clear nail polish was applied over old instead of removing it. I doubt any of the staff are professionally trained.

Great hotel, staff was amazing they went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Food was so delicious and so many varieties. Zachariah the assistant front desk manager provided a great customer service, the chef on the grill station, the housekeeping manager,Adam in the restaurant and the beach team were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and we will be back again.

Definitely a good hotel for families

The hotel was nice - rooms were basic but the amenities were good. I liked the variety of food available which always tasted fresh. Sometimes felt the food was similar between restaurants. The kids areas need more work and more things available as the play area is outdoors and very basic and some of the events are in the evening when kids are asleep.
