"Really quirky proprerty! Originally terraced houses but now converted into good sized rooms without losing any of it's original character. Nothing was too much trouble and the owner is always on hand. Already booked for next year!"

"Saw very few staff around. Couple of times reception was deserted for prolonged periods and no one was on the bar either. Maybe just low staffing levels that weekend. Staff we did encounter were friendly. Hotel is clean but a little old fashioned with its decor and felt slightly shabby in the corridors. Room had comfortable beds and a great refurbished bathroom. Parking was plentiful & it’s in a very convenient location. Would stay again if needed to be in the area"

"Very friendly welcome and very approachable and helpful. Room was good size. Bed and bedding fine. Breakfast simple but adequate. It needed topping up quicker though. Parking spaces got filled up quickly but you can park on the grass out front. Main gripe was bathroom which needed updating as it was very mouldy."
