"The inside of the house was clean and nice. The outside, on the other hand, was far from it. I’m very aware that lake houses will have some degree of normal outdoor webs and dirt. It felt like no one had taken any care of the porch and outdoor areas at all… in a while. The outdoor furniture cushions had a ton of holes and tears. The back bar area was under construction and the pics didn’t show that in the listing. The dock wasn’t super usable. It’s narrower than it looked in pictures. There was also caution tape and it was just extremely dirty. Overall I was pretty disappointed since we intended to spend more time outdoors. I can’t say good enough things about the host. They communicated super well and were kind. The house was fine."

"We had an incredible time and loved the house! It is gorgeous, spacious, rooms and bathrooms for everyone! Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen/dining area was great for everyone to cook and visit. We played pool and shuffle board and lounged in the pool. The waterslide was fun for the teenagers and adults! We brought jet skis and it was so easy to dock and launch them. The part of the lake is peaceful and not crowded with easy access to the larger parts of the lake. The paddle boards and kayaks were so fun. This house has everything you could want! Highly recommend!"
Pet Friendly Retreat on Lake LBJ!

"Great long weekend with very cute property. It was decorated nicely, clean, had the use of a washer and dryer which helped with towels and bathing suits. Was pet friendly (we have miniature daschund crate-trained). This is a heavy rental area so the houses on either side of us and across the lake were rented and sometimes loud but that is to be expected. There is no fencing between neighbors so if they have pets, they come into the yard if not watched. We always had ours on leash especially because she is a puppy. The living area is upstairs so just be aware if stairs are an issue for anyone in your party. All in all we enjoyed our stay thoroughly."

"After decades of summer vacation stays, I think we may have found our forever vacation home. This home was very special in so many ways, from the large private bathrooms with every spacious bedroom to the more than ample gathering areas with beautiful views of the lovely river. The kids loved the slide and pickleball court, and, of course, everyone enjoyed the great pool. It was also close to restaurants and groceries with very little traffic. We truly had the best time!"

"This was our 3rd time to rent this scenic property. The interior and pool area was immaculate. Prop mgt was very responsive with quick effective remedy of our only property issue. Will very likely stay here again."
