"The host was very accommodating when calling to check in early due to an early (4am Ferry). The facility also contains everything you could need including beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray, cooler, etc… You can see the ocean and hills from the balcony which is a nice touch. Would recommend!"

"We arrive late, after the last ferry got in, so we were told to go to an empty room at the top of the steps. What a thrill, staying at Hicks! The open air concept is amazing. Sleeping with just a mosquito net over us, in the open air, was a delight."

"We really enjoyed our stay overall, especially the beautiful porch — it was our favorite part of the property and such a relaxing place to unwind. The home has a rustic feel, which added to the charm. A few things to note for future guests: parking is across the street and requires crossing a fairly busy road, and there are fairly steep steps immediately after you enter the property. The location is also on the more local side of the island rather than in the more touristy Esperanza area, which worked well for us but is worth noting so others can plan accordingly. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in a unique spot!"
