"Just the perfect, fun, easy location to visit a kid in grad school at UCSB. The music in the bar on Saturday was wonderful ... to sit by the fireplace and pool outside, look at the stars and enjoy the night with music was wonderful. It is a remodeled motel but done very well. Great location. Slept well on a comfy bed. Shower had GOOD water pressure ... a rarity in California. Bar is great. Restaurant is great. Take a deep breath and love the vide at this funky little place. Will definitely stay again ... until she graduates :)"

"The staff was very attentive, personable and knowledgeable. The pool area was perfectly relaxing. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say needs improvement is that they need a kids menu. Our room came with a credit for breakfast and it was hard to find something for the grand children. "
