It didnt start off great, due to issues with the mansion's facilities, but they moved us to another hotel, Meroddi Bagtaltiyan. It was great stay staff are extremely helpfull & plesant.

I was very impressed with the quality of service at this hotel. Badir, Ahmet and Mussab were great and I enjoyed staying there before of them. The only negative was that I was on the 4th floor but I got used to the travel up and down the stairs haha

Great Value, Great People

Very friendly, warm, and helpful staff, generous and tasty Turkish breakfast, excellent location, comfy king bed. Only thing i noted was that the carpeting should be replaced on the upper floors, and maybe slightly better pillows, but overall a great experience and would definitely come back and recommend - great value.

Our stay was really good ! The staff was wonderful and they were so good in communication ( the staff was the best part there ) ! I need to thank Mehmet as he was so wonderful and so friendly to us ! Definitely coming again one day and I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have all places near by car or walk and to have a friendly environment

Really really friendly staff. I was amazed by how knowledgeable and hosting they were. They area is close to everything you want/need like Taksim, Tram or metro with good cafes and restaurants nearby.

Great hotel in a great location. The staff were extremly friendly and helpful, especially Ibrahim, who was a real help and spoke great English. Quite a few flights of stairs to get to the room but was only an issue with bags. Good breakfast and Ibrahim remembered it was our wedding aniversary and put a cake in the room, a really nice extra touch.

Galata mansion.

The hotel location was excellent for our stay. However it does have an incline to access. The staff were brilliant. Only downside is no lift. Really enjoyed the stay.

Meroddi have a number of hotels in the Galata area. We stayed at an alternative location a couple of streets from our designated location. The room was large, with plenty of storage and was cleaned every day of our stay. Breakfast was at a sister hotel. Would use this hotel again if we return to Istanbul.

The room is clean and the bathroom except shower room is very small. Water pressure is very good. Comfortable bed, clean towels and beddings, very good breakfast, very nice staff especially Kaan. Carpet on the stairs needs cleaning or be replaced. It is very inconvenient for me to go out and back to the hotel because of the hilly road.

Good but not for families

The comfort double room doesn't sleep 3 as advertised. The room was very tiny and the staircase in front of reception extremely narrow, making it very uncomfortable to stay there with a small child. Also it was very loud at night and there was no window in the room. Other than that the staff were very friendly, breakfast was nice and the location was central and still nicely quiet.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Meroddi Galata hotel, we had to move to another building which was not a pleasant experience, but the manager and the staff made up for the mishap. The hotel itself is clean, and modern, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service provided by the staff. One employee in particular, Musab, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From checking in to checking out, Musab, was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, but Musab truly stood out. I highly recommend Meroddi Galata to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience. Thank you to Musab and the entire staff for making our stay unforgettable!

The hotel’s location is really good, very central. It’s a very good value for money, they provide a generous buffet breakfast. The hotel building is very old (the street is full of historical old houses), therefore there are some sewage issues. The first room I stayed in was on top floor and had terrible smell coming from the bathroom. The following day they offered me a larger room free of charge on the first floor. This was better, I reckon the hotel needs a good plumbing renovation. Overall, worth a stay for a few nights providing its very central and they look after their customers

The hotel has a great location close to Taksim and a block away from the Galata Tower. We were a group of 13 people and had reserved 7 rooms. Unfortunately when we go to the hotel it was overbooked and we were divided to 3 different properties. The front desk clerk was unable to clearly explained what happened and just told me that we were booked in three different hotels. We had to carry the luggage up the hill to get to the new hotels. The new hotels provided were excellent. Our rooms were great and so was the hotel staff.
