"The whole place was clean and modern. It’s very much a self service kind of hotel where you can check in and out with yourself. Great location also since the train is next to the building which is accessible to the whole city center in immediate minutes. Overall great hotel especially for someone new visiting in Helsinki. "Everything was awesome? That's lovely but isn’t helpful, right? The rooms were well appointed and trendy. The sort of thing that looks amazing if well-maintained. I look forward to many future stays at this property and hope that the natty design remains poopin fresh. As for the staff: hearts of goodness, each one of them. I'm sure they deal with all forms of kind to crazy. They were truly gracious hosts at each interaction. The bathroom is a dream. The entryway into my room was the size of many hotel rooms I've had in Japan. It made winter dressing and disrobing, a thankless sport, easier than what I experience at home. The open shelving and hanger situation is also a bit of genius allowing damp togs to dry and also allowing for visual organization and space to repack as items lose situational relevance during planned activities. I loved the desk window area, but spent no time using them because OUTSIDE was the reason to be in town. I hope to plan more downtime into my next stay so I can take advantage of the well-appointed room, comfy bed, and shiny digs near many fun social eateries and activities. A great small chain find. "

"The room was very small. No one on site to ask for clean towels etc. Plus they text you when your room is ready very late 3 to 4pm. Very difficult to get to talk with someone. Good location near metro and grocery store but 15mins from city center. Safe neighborhood."

"The best place ever. Location is fantastic. I was in the female dorm. Huge windows with beautiful curtains and wonderful views. Coffee tea on the floor. Huge place to sit (dining as well as sofas etc) and relax, read. Plenty of books. Fridge to store food. On the 1st floor kitchen with fridge. I was at the hostel only for 1 night but I used the amenities and enjoyed the island emmensly. Big store a few steps away with baked goods, groceries, prepared food, frozen food, fresh veggies and fruits. "
