"The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable."

"They say you get what you pay for, but that's not the case if you book the Snowy Mountains Hostel. The website advertises a public bar, bistro, and pool table, but none of those were available during our stay. They say there's an indoor pool but we couldn't find it. We would have asked reception where the pool was, but it wasn't manned, at all (the website said it would be). "We booked the deluxe king room. Well we got quite a surprise when we opened the door at it was soooo small. It had a microwave so I assumed when I was packing that there would be some crockery and cutlery but no, there was only teaspoons and cups! thankfully the bed was very comfortable and the towels (no face washer) were beautiful and soft and large."

Character-filled Snowy River experience!
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bush Grove. Everywhere you turn there is something to delight - both inside and out. From the hand-crafted furnishings, the stunning artwork, the beautiful outlook from the front windows and the gorgeous riverfront a short (albeit rough) drive from the cabin. Bushy has ensured that the cabin has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Internet is patchy, which didn’t really worry us, but might be worth knowing if that’s important for some reason. We hope to return to soak up the ambience that Bush Grove offers."
