"We wanted to try a different type of accommodation on our trip to Kinsale. The contact was very responsive initially. Had to send a couple of additional e-mails as we approached our arrival date to get a reply. When the property was booked I provided a card that I thought we be used at that time. By the time it was used the card had expired and a new one issued. My mistake. Getting to the property was easy enough with ample parking on the street. What we didn't expect were the stairs leading up to the front door and once inside. Felt like the Amalfi coast at first. Entry/exit instructions were clear and easy to follow. Room key needs to be re-keyed. Took some finesse to make it work the entire week. When additional towels were requested they came promptly while we were out. The bathroom door would not completely shut. the Unit overall was pretty clean, but needs maintenance and upkeep. The building front door does not completely close and secure. A sign is posted on the door on the inside informing guests of that, but we found the door open many times going from/to the property. I would recommend older guests consider the stairs when making reservations. While the property wasn't quite what we expected, it was fully booked. Location is very good just steps from the Black Pig restaurant and a two minute walk to morning coffee and pastries and the Post House and Kinsale Bakery. About a 5 minute walk into town. We are thankful for the Old Dispensary. Grazie"
