"Great location "

"The location was really good. Close to the beach & restaurant & bars & shops as it was central to most places. We had an executive room with terrace city view. It was smaller than expected for the price we paid. We had drinks at the bar and the service was good. The breakfast was a big keg down. Not a huge choice . And the hot choices were not hot. The scrambled egg was cold and others were not good quality. We were not told we could order eggs either. We saw a table with poached eggs ands then asked. We kinda wished we stayed at the Mercury next door to save some money as the hotel was not worth the money we paid. I was impressed with the response on the app when we requested extra pillows & water they did respond & 1 hour extra complementary check out."

"The property itself was beautiful and overall we had a great stay. Breakfast offered an excellent variety, and the staff throughout the hotel was warm and accommodating. There were just a couple of odd issues worth mentioning. We asked the concierge for directions on two separate occasions, and one time we were sent walking in the complete opposite direction. Another time the directions were extremely vague. It was surprising considering we were asking the hotel staff, not random people on the street. I’d just recommend double checking directions on your phone before heading out. The other strange issue involved the gym. The gym is located on the bottom floor, but there’s apparently no light switch accessible to guests. If the lights are off, you have to go back upstairs and ask the front desk to turn them on. Since there’s only one elevator servicing that level and no other staircase access, you end up waiting around just to get back upstairs and then back down again. It may sound minor, but it felt unnecessarily inconvenient and very odd that guests can’t simply control the lights themselves."

"The hotel rooms have very unique set-ups. The bathroom sink is right in the entrance to the room. Not very impressed with the furniture or decor, but I’m much more traditional and the hotel is very modern. The staff is outstanding! Couldn’t be any better. Extremely helpful. The pizza in the restaurant was fantastic. Great location. Overall, great hotel, unique furnishings. "

"It was a great location right next to the main Nice train station and very walkable to the beach and Old Town. The room was small but okay for the price and just being one person. Really no complaints, good budget friendly hotel if you're traveling solo and plan to take the train a lot or need a central location in the town!"
