"My wife and I stayed at the hotel in December. The hotel is in a good location for walking into St. Helier town, and for walking or driving to the sea front where there is plenty of parking. The hotel is a very nice building with good parking places. We had breakfast included in our package and it was excellent with plenty of choice. Our room and bathroom had plenty space and was very clean and quiet. All the staff in all the areas were very polite and helpful. The meals were very nice and reasonably priced, but in my opinion the portions were small, Something to be aware of is that in the hotel online advertisement from which we made the booking it referred to a fitness room which I was looking forward to using as I am doing rehabilitation exercises on an injured knee. I was told that it has not been used for a long time. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would probably return if the price was right."

"We were staying with family and booked 2 x upstairs apartments, which were conveniently across the small landing from each other. They were exceptionally spacious and clean, with everything that was needed for a short break. There was an ironing board/iron, safe, hairdryer, tissues, and even a trouser press in the bedroom! The bed was massive and very comfortable. A nice welcome pack included 2 small packs of corn flakes, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and bottled water. There was washing up liquid, with sponge and dishcloth, and spare bin bags at the bottom of each bin. Hand soap and hair/bodywash in the bathroom. The rooms were lovely and warm despite awful weather outside. Parking available right outside the rooms. We had a wee courtesy knock every day from the staff to see if we needed any clean towels, or other provisions, which was unexpected but welcome. The location was in a quiet area of the town but only a few minutes walk from a Morrison's Daily supermarket for any basics you need. We had a car so getting around wasn't a problem, but it is a fairly steep hill to get there if that would bother you. There are bus stops nearby though if needed. I would highly recommend the apartments to anyone looking for a home from home with everything needed for a self catering holiday, rather than a basic hotel room."

"The hotel is fabulous, though the degree to which it excels will (obviously) depend on the room type. We booked a double which was in the older part of the hotel, facing the internal courtyard. Not an issue, however, the floor seemed to incline towards the window and the bathroom meant there was only room for one. The roof terrace on the fourth floor is definitely worth a visit if you are not lucky enough to have a room with a view. However, the staff excelled from the front desk to restaurant staff. One in particular deserves mention - Eric. He was extremely polite, attentive and professional during all the breakfasts we had. A definite GoTo for our return."
