"We had a wonderful stay at Johnson’s Beach Resort and would absolutely recommend it! We stayed in one of the rustic historical bungalows, which had so much charm. The room was clean and well-kept, the bed and linens were comfortable, the shower was fresh, and the little kitchen was just adorable. The location is hard to beat — walkable to restaurants and cafés, and just steps from the beach. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One small note: our bungalow was near the boiler area, which created a bit of background noise at night once things quieted down — we would have loved to drift off to the sounds of nature instead. Something to keep in mind when requesting a room. Overall, a lovely, character-filled getaway. We’d happily come back!"

"The property was very nice and bright. It was a peaceful and quiet retreat with a beautiful garden. Cleanliness was an issue, particularly the bedrooms. The floors in the bedroom were dusty. The number of dirty cobwebs and spiders in the rooms, the closets and even the main living areas was not acceptable. I had to go out and buy a swiffer to clear them. Had to wash the extra comforter that was on the closet shelf before we could use it because it was dusty and all the cobwebs up there. The light fixtures, baseboards (especially the bathroom ones) and the sliding glass door tracks really need cleaning also. There’ a shop vac in the garage, they should use it to clean the garage and the entrance to it since that’s where the laundry is located. I would caution elders; the tub/shower is somewhat hard to get in/out and there isn’t a grab bar."

"Overall, I had a great stay at Surrey Resort and would consider staying here again. Check-in was easy, and my tent was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the electric blanket, which made for a cozy night's sleep. The location is another major highlight. It's an easy walk to Guerneville's Main Street, and the resort itself has a peaceful, pleasant setting that made it easy to relax. My only disappointment was the pool and hot tub. I wasn't able to enjoy the pool during my visit, and while the hot tub was warm, the jets were not operating. If those amenities were fully functional, the experience would have been even better. Overall, it's a unique, comfortable place to stay in a great location, and I'd be happy to return."

"The host was very responsive to the few questions we had. Quick 3-5 min walk to Johnsons Beach/ downtown Guerneville via crossing the pedestrian bridge. Location perfect."
Brand New Gorgeous Modern Farmhouse w/Pool, Hot Tub

"We have been visiting the Russian River Valley area for the past 20 years for family reunions and this home has been the best we’ve stayed! Check in and check out were super easy and we received all info we needed well before the trip. Location is excellent - walking distance to town, close to Johnson’s Beach and a short drive to wineries. My favorite part was the Chef’s kitchen with top of the line appliances (Wolf oven, Thermador washer, Henckel knives, etc.) and had everything we needed in the pantry. Kids loved the heated pool and hot tub with colorful lights at night. AC worked great during hot days and bed/linens were very comfortable. Communication with property management was excellent but didn’t need to reach them as everything during our 5-day stay worked wonderfully and we didn’t need anything! We will definitely stay in this luxurious home again and again!"
