Edinburgh City Centre3 nights4.0 star property9.2/10 - Wonderful (1,002 reviews)"This is our third time staying at the Scotsman. This time we selected a director room with city view, we stayed in room 702, it had wonderful views and a dining table surrounded by windows. We also chose to include breakfast, which I would also recommend considering. We have stayed in hotels in "new town" before also, but it wasn't the same. Different atmosphere and not as walkable. Staff are extremely helpful."Reviewed November 6, 2026Return • Dublin (DUB) - Edinburgh (EDI)DUB - EDI • Direct EDI - DUB • Direct - Grassmarket hotel

OK seng, som til gengæld fylder hele værelset. Ungt personale, venlige - placeret i den mindste reception som var en pc og et skrivebord. Meget stor og livlig bar (hvor også morgenmad kunne indtages). Super beliggenhed i et livligt kvarter."Reviewed November 3, 2026Return • Dublin (DUB) - Edinburgh (EDI)DUB - EDI • Direct EDI - DUB • Direct - Novotel Edinburgh Centre

"The only downside to this property really was the lack of air conditioning. It was extremely humid when we were there and no way to remove the humidity from the room. But it wasn't hot or anything, so not a big deal. The staff was super nice, the breakfast was great, everything worked well. I especially loved how declining service came with a perk or a charity donation."

"The room we booked wasn’t prepared, they only had 1 bed. Staff brought in a pullout instead (which was not comfortable and not sufficient for us), at which point we dropped off our bags and went into the city. Upon returning at 7pm we found that we had no blankets for the pullout anywhere, 4 of the 6 ceiling lights were burnt out and we could hardly get light, and there were no staff there for the rest of the night"
